BAJALI, MAY 5: To ensure a seamless and inclusive admission process for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic session, the All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU) Unit of Bhattadev University, Bajali, has officially launched a dedicated “Gorkha Students Helpdesk.” This initiative is specifically designed to support candidates aspiring to enroll in undergraduate programs, including B.A. and B.Sc., as well as self-financed post-graduate courses such as M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., and Integrated Masters programs. Functioning as a vital gateway to academic excellence, the helpdesk aims to bridge the gap between aspiring students and one of the region’s premier educational institutions.
Recognizing the technical hurdles often associated with university admissions, this student-led initiative offers comprehensive support to both applicants and their parents. The primary objective is to alleviate the stress of the digital application process by providing clear, step-by-step guidance for navigating the SAMARTH portal. Through hands-on assistance, the BU AAGSU student committee is committed to ensuring that technical difficulties or a lack of digital literacy do not hinder any deserving student from pursuing their academic ambitions.
The helpdesk provides a wide array of services tailored to meet the varied needs of applicants. Dedicated team members are facilitating document verification by offering clear explanations regarding the strict requirements for marksheets, caste certificates, and gap certificates. Additionally, the helpdesk serves as a central information hub for merit list queries, keeping students updated on cutoff marks, selection criteria, and waiting list movements. The team is also fully equipped to provide real-time technical support for common administrative issues, such as fee payment failures and form submission errors, while simultaneously assisting with inquiries related to state fee waiver schemes.
