Karbi Anglong, 06 September 2026: The 5th Executive and 2nd Extended Executive Meeting of the All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU), Karbi Anglong District Committee, was successfully held on 06 September 2026.

The meeting was attended by the office bearers of the AAGSU Karbi Anglong District Committee, including President Shri Narayan Chetry, Vice President Shri Rabi Rana, General Secretary Shri Sanju Chetry, Assistant General Secretaries Shri Durga Rai and Shri Kamal Chetry, Organising Secretary Shri Ankit Rai, Finance Secretary Shri Gaman Chetry, Culture Secretary Shri Aditya Limbu and Executive Member Shri Bikash Chetry.

The meeting was also attended by the Presidents and Secretaries of the Borjan, Bokajan, Nilip Deopani and Diphu Regional Committees, along with other members representing the respective regional committees.

The meeting focused on various organizational matters, coordination between the district and regional committees, and measures to strengthen the activities and unity of the Gorkha student community in Karbi Anglong. The participants discussed the importance of collective efforts, effective coordination and active participation in strengthening organizational activities at the grassroots level.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with the members reaffirming their cooperation and commitment towards further strengthening the All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU) and working for the welfare and development of the Gorkha community.
