Umrongso, 06 September 2026: The All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU) Umrongso Regional Committee expressed its deepest condolences on the sad demise of Late Prem Bh. Gurung, beloved father of Shri Santosh Gurung, Sports Secretary, AAGSU Umrongso Regional Committee.

Late Prem Bh. Gurung passed away on 24 August 2026. In connection with the bereavement, members of the AAGSU Umrongso Regional Committee visited Shri Santosh Gurung and his bereaved family and formally handed over a condolence letter, conveying their heartfelt sympathy and solidarity during this difficult period.

The committee conveyed its sincere condolences to Shri Santosh Gurung and the entire bereaved family. The members prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace and wished the bereaved family strength, courage and fortitude to overcome this irreparable loss.

The AAGSU Umrongso Regional Committee reaffirmed its solidarity with the bereaved family and expressed its support during this hour of grief and sorrow.
