AAGSU Kamrup District Extends Support to 85 HS and HSLC Candidates Ahead of Examinations

Kamrup, 10 February: Demonstrating its continued commitment towards the academic welfare of students, the Kamrup District Committee of the All Assam Gorkha StudentsтАЩ Union (AAGSU) recently carried out an extensive outreach programme across the district, visiting a total of 85 HS and HSLC examination candidates to offer encouragement and moral support ahead of their upcoming board examinations.
The initiative was led by District President Gobinda Sarma and General Secretary Amar Sunar, who personally interacted with students and their families during the visits. They were accompanied by Vice President Motilal Chetry, member Sanjib Sharma, Central Member Bikash Sharma, and Lampi Anchalik President Subhash Lama. The team travelled to various parts of Kamrup district to ensure that students appearing for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary (HS) examinations felt motivated and supported during this crucial academic phase.
During the visits, the AAGSU representatives engaged in meaningful conversations with the candidates, advising them to remain confident, disciplined, and focused in their preparation. President Gobinda Sarma encouraged the students to approach the examinations with a positive mindset and to believe in their hard work and abilities. General Secretary Amar Sunar emphasized the importance of time management, regular revision, and maintaining good health throughout the examination period.
Vice President Motilal Chetry and member Sanjib Sharma also shared words of inspiration, urging students not to succumb to pressure or anxiety. Central Member Bikash Sharma highlighted that board examinations are an important milestone but not the sole determinant of future success, encouraging candidates to give their best efforts without fear. Lampi Anchalik President Subhash Lama conveyed heartfelt best wishes on behalf of the Anchalik Committee and assured the students that AAGSU stands firmly beside them in their academic journey.
Parents and guardians expressed appreciation for the thoughtful initiative undertaken by the student body. Many noted that such visits not only boost the morale of students but also strengthen the bond between the organization and the community. The personal outreach was widely welcomed as a positive and motivating gesture at a time when students often face heightened stress and expectations.
This programme reflects AAGSUтАЩs consistent efforts to promote educational awareness and academic excellence within the district. By directly reaching out to examination candidates, the organization once again reaffirmed its dedication to empowering students and fostering a supportive educational environment. The Kamrup District Committee stated that nurturing confidence and ambition among young learners remains one of its core priorities.
