Matipul, Karbi Anglong, 08 September 2026: The All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU), Karbi Anglong District Committee, paid a condolence visit to the bereaved family of Late Shri Mon Bahadur Rai, grandfather of Shri Ajit Rai, Organising Secretary, AAGSU Karbi Anglong District Committee, at Matipul, Karbi Anglong.

A delegation comprising President Shri Narayan Chetry, General Secretary Shri Sanju Chetry and Vice President Shri Pradeep Chetry visited the bereaved family to express their heartfelt condolences and stand in solidarity with them during this difficult time.

During the visit, the delegation formally handed over a Shok Patra (Condolence Letter) to the bereaved family on behalf of the AAGSU Karbi Anglong District Committee. The members paid their respects to the departed soul and offered prayers for his eternal peace, while conveying strength, support and sympathy to the grieving family.

The AAGSU Karbi Anglong District Committee expressed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty grant them courage and strength to bear this irreparable loss. The members also conveyed their support to the family during this period of grief.
