Garampani, August 5: The All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU), Garampani Regional Committee, in association with the AAGSU Dima Hasao District Committee, paid a condolence visit to the residence of Smt. Puja Giri, Assistant Cultural Secretary of the AAGSU Garampani Regional Committee, following the untimely demise of her beloved father, Late Bhimlal Giri.

During the visit, the AAGSU delegation handed over a Sokpatra (condolence letter) to Smt. Puja Giri and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family in their time of grief.

The delegation included Kamal Sharma, President; Rohit Chetri, General Secretary; Rukmini Sharma, Cultural Secretary; Nilu Dorjee, Rajen Rai and Moniram Upadhyay, Vice Presidents; Ganesh Giri, Volunteer Chief; Nikhil Sharma, Assistant Sports Secretary; Bishal Chetri, Mouthpiece Secretary; Amit Rai and Siva Gurung, Members of the AAGSU Garampani Regional Committee.

AAGSU expressed profound sorrow over the demise of Late Bhimlal Giri and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. The organization prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and for strength, courage and comfort to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.
