AAGSU Dhemaji District Committee Inaugurates Temporary Office Ahead of 18th Biennial Central Delegate Conference

Silapathar, July 6: In preparation for the successful conduct of the 18th Biennial Central Delegate Conference of the All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU), the Dhemaji District Committee ceremonially inaugurated its temporary office at Silapathar on Monday. The office has been established to coordinate and streamline all organizational and logistical arrangements for the upcoming conference.

The temporary office was formally inaugurated by the Chief Advisor of the AAGSU Dhemaji District Committee, Mr. Khem Pradhan, who cut the ceremonial ribbon in the presence of office bearers, volunteers, members, and distinguished guests. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Pradhan highlighted the rich legacy of AAGSU and emphasized the vital role of youth in strengthening the organization. He urged all office bearers, volunteers, and members to carry out their responsibilities with discipline, dedication, and sincerity to ensure the grand success of the Delegate Conference.

The inaugural programme was attended by AAGSU Central General Secretary Mr. Numal Chettri, Central Sports Secretary Mr. Mohan Bishwakarma, and Chief Volunteer Mr. D.K. Limbu. The central leaders expressed satisfaction with the preparations already undertaken by the Dhemaji District Committee and commended its members for their commitment, active participation, and tireless efforts in organizing the prestigious event.

The programme also witnessed the participation of district committee office bearers, volunteers, members, and several eminent personalities from different sections of society. Those present reaffirmed their collective commitment to making the forthcoming 18th Biennial Central Delegate Conference a historic, disciplined, and successful event.

Speaking on the occasion, the leaders stressed that the Delegate Conference would not only strengthen the organizational structure of AAGSU but also provide an important platform for discussing issues related to students, youth, education, and the Gorkha community. They expressed confidence that the conference would mark another significant milestone in the history of the organization.

Concluding the programme, the AAGSU Dhemaji District Committee extended heartfelt gratitude to all well-wishers, social workers, supporting organizations, and members of the public for their continued encouragement and cooperation. The Committee appealed for the active participation and support of the community to ensure the successful and memorable conduct of the upcoming Delegate Conference.
