Guwahati, 5 January 2026: An emergency virtual meeting of the Education Secretary and Assistant Education Secretaries of the All Assam Gorkha StudentsтАЩ Union (AAGSU) was held on 5th January 2025 in the presence of the HonтАЩble Advisor (Education), Mr. Roshan Gurung. The meeting was convened to discuss immediate academic initiatives and to extend structured support to candidates who have recently qualified the APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Mains.
After detailed discussion, the meeting unanimously resolved to conduct free mock interview sessions for APSC CCE Mains qualified candidates. The initiative aims to assist aspirants in strengthening their interview preparation and enhancing their confidence ahead of the final stage of the examination process. It was further decided that the programme would be organised in collaboration with SPM IAS Academy, a reputed institution known for its expertise in civil services interview guidance.
The mock interview programme has been designed to provide candidates with a real-time interview experience similar to the actual APSC board. Participants will interact with an expert panel and receive constructive performance feedback along with personalised guidance. Special focus will be given to improving communication skills, clarity of expression, answer structuring, body language, and overall confidence, which are crucial for success in the interview stage.
In view of ensuring quality interaction and individual attention, the number of seats for the mock interview sessions will be limited. Eligible candidates who have recently cleared the APSC CCE Mains Examination are therefore encouraged to register at the earliest to secure their slots. The registration process has been made accessible through an online link and QR code for the convenience of candidates.
All office bearers, district committees, and members of AAGSU have been requested to circulate the registration link widely among eligible candidates so that deserving aspirants can benefit from this free academic support initiative. The organisation believes that such collective efforts will not only help candidates prepare effectively but also contribute towards greater representation in the Assam Civil Services.
The last date for registration has been fixed as 10 January 2026. Through this initiative, the All Assam Gorkha StudentsтАЩ Union (AAGSU) once again reaffirms its commitment towards educational empowerment and continuous academic support for students and aspirants across Assam.
