Mahur, 07 September 2026: The All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU), Mahur Regional Committee, in collaboration with the AAGSU Dima Hasao District Committee, organized a felicitation programme to honour Shri Govind Sunar on his appointment as Adviser of the AAGSU Dima Hasao District Committee.

On the occasion, members of the AAGSU Mahur Regional Committee and the AAGSU Dima Hasao District Committee visited the residence of Shri Govind Sunar and felicitated him with respect and honour. The programme was organized to acknowledge his valuable contribution, dedication and continued support towards the Gorkha community and the organization.

Shri Govind Sunar is a respected and experienced personality whose guidance, commitment and valuable advice will be an important asset to the District Committee. His appointment as Adviser reflects the organization’s trust in his experience, leadership qualities and ability to guide the members in the right direction.

The members conveyed their sincere congratulations and best wishes to Shri Govind Sunar on his new responsibility. They expressed confidence that his guidance and support would further strengthen the unity, coordination and organizational activities of the AAGSU Dima Hasao District Committee.
